Friction Calls                                                                                         

The newest edition to my line of custom hand made calls.  I've been making various types of friction calls for almost as long as I've been building box calls.  At some point I decided to focus all of my attention on improving my box call design and sound so my friction calls went on the back burner until recently.  Over the course of the past year, I've been working to improve my design to create a call that has both the sound and playability that I wanted in a call.  I've made several changes to my original design and I have finally found the sound that I've been searching for. 

I will be offering Slate, Glass and Aluminum calls in a variety of solid wood pots.  Some of my personal favorites include osage orange, birdseye maple, bocote and Cherry.  Each call will be signed, dated and finished so that they will hold up through years of use.  Each call will also include a two piece dymondwood striker.
